The 2025-26 season was a solid one for Andre Drummond, who played a crucial role for the Philadelphia 76ers. He provided minutes behind Joel Embiid and showed improvement in his three-point shooting, taking 1.4 3s per game and knocking down the corner 3 at a 38% clip. Drummond also advanced in the playoffs for the first time in his career, giving the Sixers some solid minutes, including starting Game 2 against the Knicks when Embiid was out. He was a great mentor for Adem Bona and the other youngsters on the roster and a great teammate to have in the locker room. Overall, Drummond did what the Sixers asked of him, attacking the glass, providing minutes when they needed it behind Embiid, giving mentorship to Bona, and being a great teammate. With the 3-point development in his game, this was a solid season for Drummond. One has to wonder if the Sixers will have interest in bringing him back in free agency.
